GOOGLE PAYMENT ISSUE [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue affecting Android users where players cannot proceed with the payment due to a Google Payment Error. We'll update the situation in this message as soon as possible once we have more information.

DEVICE NOT COMPATIBLE [FIXED]

We are aware that Google Play users are receiving a notification that their device is not compatible with the app. This is currently under investigation. We will update this notice once we know more.

The issue has been resolved and it should now be possible to Update the game as normal.

If that is not the case, first try restarting the Play Store app and search for the game using a different search term, like "guardian tale" instead of "guardian tales"

In case that still doesn't let you update the game, please clear your Google Play Store cache by following the instructions on this page.

 

 

<MAILBOX ISSUE AND DELAYED NEW YEAR'S GIFT> [FIXED]

Unfortunately, we won't be able to resolve this issue as of right now but are looking to resolve this as soon as possible.

For the time being, if you get stuck, please restart the game entirely and refrain from entering the "Manage" tab in the mailbox.
Regarding the New Year's Gift, which was promised to be given on December 31st, please note that we will be sending them out at a later date.

 

<GUILD RAID TIMES ISSUE> [UNDER INVESTIGATION]

Due to the shortened guild raid period, in-game strings related to guild raid periods noted on the Help window are outdated but will be updated with the next maintenance.

<LIMITED GEM PACKAGE IS SHOWING WRONG ITEMS> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue where the components of the Limited Gem Package is showing wrong items names on the shop banner when you have your game language set to Traditional Chinese.

Please note this package currently being sold offers 8,100 Paid Gems, 10 Legendary Awakening Stones, and 20 Awakening Dungeon Boxes (Lv.70). The banner for Traditional Chinese will be replaced shortly.

<MISS CHROM'S SUMMON BANNER DISPLAYS INCORRECT DAYS> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where the days left for Miss Chrom's summon banner is not correct (as of August 16, 2022, it displays only 6 days left when in reality, it will be available until August 30, 2022, before maintenance).

<MISS CHROM'S EXCLUSIVE WEAPON 'BLACK MAMBA' ISSUE> [FIXED]

Currently equipping Miss Chrom's exclusive weapon Black Mamba on both main and sub-weapon slots would give double the DPS damage on hit.

With v2.49's maintenance, planned on August 30, the DPS damage on hit will no longer be double but the basic stat of 'Black Mamba' will be modified as follows:

- [As is] 'On hit, deal 100% of DPS damage.'

- [To be] ''On hit, deal 200% of DPS damage.'

<FENRIR SUMMON ISSUE> [FIXED]

Greetings Guardians,

We are currently aware of two issues regarding Fenrir, the Legendary Weapon for the White Beast below:

  1. A ★5 Fenrir may appear in the 'Once Chance Guaranteed Epic Exclusive Equipment Summon' provided once per account to new accounts who will be guaranteed an Epic Equipment on their 30th summon try if they had not summoned an Epic Exclusive Equipment for their first 29 times.
  2. A ★5 Fenrir may appear in the 'Pickup Equipment Summon' or 'Summon Equipment' menu.

These two issues have occurred since the May 31st update when Fenrir was first introduced and we will resolve this issue with the June 28th maintenance.

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused and the guardians who have been affected by this issue will each receive an Epic Exclusive Equipment Box for every time they have experienced the issue. This compensation will be distributed during the maintenance.

Please note this box reward will only be distributed to those who have been affected by this issue after our data check performed with the June 28th maintenance.

Additionally, however, we will also be scheduling the following compensation for all guardians:

<2-STAR HERO SUMMON ISSUE> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where both Male and Female Knights or both Fei and Mei appear on the results window from Pick-up Summons even when you cannot possess the hero you have not selected from the storyline from these hero pairs.

The hero you cannot claim will be converted into Hero Crystals instead.

This issue will be resolved with the next maintenance.

There is an issue with some of the text on the "Unique Hero Growth" Package (Claude) where the text bleeds out of the box when setting the language to Spanish. This will be fixed shortly with a non-maintenance patch.

 

<COUNT CLAUDE'S BACKGROUND STORY IN PROFILE SCREEN> [FIXED]

When acquiring the new hero Count Claude, the story part of the profile is displayed in English even if you have your language setting to Portuguese. This will be fixed shortly with a non-maintenance patch.

 

<WORLD 14-4 - BGM FOR UNDERGROUND WATER PASSAGE ISSUE> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where the BGM for underground water passage does not play.

<WORLD 14-4 - INVISIBLE WALL ISSUE> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where you get stuck by an invisible terrain at a certain location in the underground water passage.

<WORLD 14-2 - SOHEE'S NOT JOINING PARTY AFTER REVIVING> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where Sohee does not join your party again when you revive after dying from the mouse bomb.

We are aware of an issue where Heads-up Display (HUD) blinks when trying to move to a restricted area during the second trial.

There are some issues regarding some of the texts in World 14:

  • Some of the texts are cut and displayed abnormally.
  • Missing texts when the language is set to Arabic.
  • Some text is displayed abnormally during Sohi's first encounter event when the language is set to Arabic.
  • Localization issues

We are aware of the issue with Colosseum on the Oceania server where the game may crash with the error "Internal server error. #391298 " the error can also appear when trying to claim the weekly reward.

We are planning to fix this issue shortly with a non-maintenance update and we will update this announcement once the issue is fixed.

We have now applied a patch to correct this issue, please close the game, update it and you will be able to enter Colosseum again with no issues.

We have also sent 500 Gems to Oceania server due to not being able to access Colosseum for some time due to the error above.

 

<COOL-DOWN TIME FOR EQUIPMENT IN TRAINING ROOM> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue where the cooldown timer for removing equipment from Training Room slot states 10 hours when it is supposed to be 10 days. Please note it is intended to be 10 days.

We are aware of a visual glitch causing the Limited Time Summon Package to be displayed in the game shop with the incorrect amounts of Gems and Summon Controllers. We are working on a fix and will update you as soon as we have one.

The visual glitch that caused the Limited Time Summon Package to show incorrect amounts of Gems and Summon Controllers was fixed. Players should now be able to see the correct amount of resources they're buying.

 

<ERROR MESSAGES "UNKNOWN" AND "503" WON'T LET ME LOG IN> [FIXED]

We are aware of an error where the messages "unknown" or "Error 503" won't let the players sign in to their accounts and play. We are currently investigating this issue and will update you as soon as we have more information.

<PAID SUMMONS UNAVAILABLE AFTER USING UP FREE SUMMONS> [FIXED]

We are aware that some of our players are experiencing an issue when attempting to summon using Gems after using up their daily Free Summons. We are looking into a fix and will update you as soon as we know more.

<GUILD RAID DAMAGE TO SAND MONSTER NOT BEING COUNTED PROPERLY> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where the damage to Sand Monster on Guild Raids is not counted properly.

We are aware of an issue where the Scarecrow displays an error of the type "Scarecrow Game ended abnormally". The development team is aware of the issue and they're looking into it.

<GAME FREEZES AFTER TIMER IN ARENA RUNS OUT> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where, when playing in the Arena, the game freezes, and players are unable to do anything once the timer runs out.

<UPDATE BUTTON NOT BEING DISPLAYED ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE AFTER AN UPDATE> [FIXED]

It has come to our attention that some Android players are unable to update their game directly after an update. This has been confirmed to be an issue with Google's system.

In order to troubleshoot this problem, follow these instructions:

  • Open Google Play Store
  • Search for Guardian Tales on the search bar
  • Tap on the Guardian Tales icon
  • You should now be able to see the Update button and update the game normally

 

<UPDATE ERROR/FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE CDN SERVER> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue where players are unable to connect to the servers with the error message:

<INCORRECT DISPLAY OF LILITH'S DAMAGE ON GUILD RAID> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue where Lilith's damage is not being counted properly in certain cases such as when battling on Guild Raids. 

The issue is now being reviewed by the developers in order to be fixed as soon as possible.

<VISUAL GLITCH ON MEYREEL WHEN EQUIPPING SOLARIS> [FIXED]

We are aware of a visual error with Meyreel when equipping "Solaris", where the equipment costume is only visible on one side.

The issue is now being reviewed by the developers in order to be fixed as soon as possible.

 

<KAMAZON LAND SPECIAL EVENT ANIMATION> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue where the animation for the Kamazon Land Special Event is not displayed normally.

<CONTROLLER NOT WORKING ON EXPLORATION MODE> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue with controllers/gamepads not working properly on Exploration Mode.

This issue has been reviewed and the Exploration Mode is currently intended not to support controllers.

 

<RECON CANNOT BE USED WITHOUT HAVING AN OPERATION PLAN AVAILABLE> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue in World Exploration, where the Recon button cannot be pressed if you do not have an Operation Plan available while pressing the Recon button does not consume an Operation Plan.

This issue will be fixed with the next update so that you can also use the Recon button when you do not have an Operation Plan available.

<ANDROID WEBVIEW CAUSING CRASHES> [FIXED]

We are aware of crashing issues affecting Android users' apps due to an issue with a system component called Android System WebView. This component lets Android apps display web content. Google issued a fix for the problem, and can be solved by updating your Android System WebView to version 89.0.4389.105 and Google Chrome to the latest version - both of these apps are available on the Google Play Store.

 

<INTERNAL SERVER ERROR MESSAGE ON GUILD RAID> [FIXED]

We are aware of an issue when trying to view the raid post entry period expiring. The rewards will be received as usual.

We are aware of some of our players experiencing lagging after the latest patch on February 23rd. Our team is already working on resolving the issue and we will keep you updated on the progress. In the meantime, please try to switch from Wi-FI to Mobile Data or vice versa as this may boost your connection and help with stability.

We are aware of the issues where text strings are currently missing from the game or showing in English. As a temporary solution, we suggest trying to change the game's language to English, as this should fix the issue while we work on addressing all other languages.

<TEXT MISSING FROM WORLD 9> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issues where text strings are currently missing from World 9. As a temporary solution, we suggest trying to change the game's language to English, as this should fix the issue while we work on addressing all other languages.

The language issues have been resolved and the text is now available in all languages. Make sure to restart your game and feel free to switch back to your preferred language.

 

<RUE THE RED EVENT RIFT: THE GAME CRASHES/STOPS WORKING UPON PRESSING THE "AUTO BATTLE" OR "SWEEP"> [FIXED]

We are aware of the issue where the game crashes or stops working at the Rue the Red Event Rift when pressing the button for Auto-Battle or Sweep.

As a temporary solution, we suggest changing the game's language to English. This will fix the issue and you will be able to use Auto-Battle or Sweep without any issues. 

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you and we can assure you that we are working on fixing the problems that occur when the game is using a different language.

We have released a patch that fixes the issue with the crashes when using a different language than English. You can now switch back to your preferred language.

 

<"AN ERROR OCCURRED WHILE PROCESSING DATA." ERROR AT RUE THE RED: SANTA'S FACTORY EVENT STAGE> [FIXED]

We are aware of the error that appears the first time you unlock Santa's Gift Factory after clearing the first part of the Rue the Red event stage quest:

Upon pressing Confirm, you will be brought back to the lobby, and you will be able to re-enter and continue the event stage from where you stopped.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you and we are doing our best to correct this error as soon as possible with a patch.

 

<THE POP-UP WINDOW THAT SHOWS THE ARENA SEASON REWARD DID NOT APPEAR FOR THE ARENA SEASON ENDING ON 7TH OF DECEMBER> [FIXED]

There was a visual bug with the Arena Season reward, where the pop-up showing the Gems you received for the season did not appear but your Gem balance has correctly updated. We would like to apologize for any confusion this matter may have caused and we have released a fix in order to resolve this matter.

Please update your game to the latest build 2.4.5 to correct the issue with the pop-up not appearing when receiving your Season Rewards.

After the new build was released we received new reports that the update did not resolve this issue.
