All real-money purchases for Guardian Tales are made through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. This means that we do not handle your orders directly. Rather, orders are processed by Google or Apple respectively, and they inform us of when a purchase is made and what needs to be delivered.

That said, if your bank statement shows that you’ve been charged more than once for a product, we do have some advice for you.

The first thing to do is check your Order History with Google/Apple to see what they've registered for you.

  • Google Play Store: You can see all your orders on this page.
  • Apple App Store: Depending on your device, you will find instructions for how to view your order history here.

Depending on what you find, there are different ways to proceed.

  • If your order history shows that you were charged twice, but the product was only delivered once, there is an issue between us and Google/Apple. Please contact us.
  • If your order history shows that you were charged twice, and the product was delivered twice, there’s technically not an issue. If you meant to only make one purchase, and if you want to request a refund, please have a look at this page for how to proceed.
  • If your order history shows that you were charged once, but your bank statement shows you were charged twice, the issue is between your bank and Google/Apple. We’d recommend contacting Google/Apple, and they will be able to advise you better.

What if I request a refund from Google/Apple?

Both Google and Apple give you the option to request refunds for purchases you’ve made. However, if you request a refund for an order that was successfully delivered in-game, your account will be locked until the refunded money is repaid.

To avoid this, make sure to only request refunds for orders that were not successfully delivered in-game. If you’re ever uncertain, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, and we’ll help clear up any questions you might have.
