Are there any coupons active now?

Generally, coupons are shared through our social media channels. However, if a coupon is active for more than a few days, it will also be shared via an Active Coupons article in the Announcements section here on our FAQ. If there is no such article, it means there are no coupons active outside of short-term social media promotions.

I saw a coupon on a website, but it doesn't work

There are several websites listing coupons for games, including Guardian Tales, but unfortunately, those websites are often not up-to-date, and the coupons they list may already have expired.

How can I redeem my Coupon?

  1. Log-in to your account and go to options.
  2. Go to Account Settings and click on "Enter Coupon Code":  
  3. Paste your coupon code in the Coupon Code Window and press Confirm:
  4. If it worked correctly, you will see this message next:
  5. After you see this message, check your in-game mailbox, go to "Manage" and you will be able to see your rewards:

  1. Go to our website's coupon page: https://guardiantales.com/coupon
  2. Enter your account and server information:

    1. If you are not sure what your User Number is, log in to the game, go toOptions (1) -> Account Settings (2) and copy your User Number (3):​
    2. If you are not sure what your Server is, close the game and open it again, and while it is loading, don't press anything and you will see your server on the top right:
  3. If you succeeded in redeeming your coupon, you will see this message on the website:
  4. After you see this message, check your in-game mailbox, go to "Manage" and you will be able to see your rewards:

Can I claim a Coupon more than once?

No, each coupon can only be claimed once per account. Please make sure you are logged in to the correct account, server, and world before you claim your coupon.

In case you are claiming your coupon from the website, please double and triple check when adding your account details and claiming the coupons as Customer Support will not be able to help you move your coupon rewards to a different server or account in case of a mistake.

Can I claim a Coupon on two different Worlds on the same Server (like NA1 and NA2)?

No, if you redeem your coupon on North America World 1 and claim it from your mailbox, you will not be able to redeem it again on North America World 2.

If you have created profiles on both World 1 and World 2 on the same linked account of the same server, then once you redeem your coupon code, you will be able to see the coupon rewards in your mailbox in both worlds until you claim the rewards in one of themOnce you claim your rewards from your mailbox your rewards become permanently bound to that profile and you cannot claim them again on a different world or server.

Please keep this in mind before claiming your rewards as Customer Support will not be able to help you move your coupon rewards to a different server or account.

What happens if my Coupon Expires?

It is intentional that coupons have expiration dates, as they are created for specific events as temporary rewards. Expired coupons can no longer be redeemed and Customer Support will not be able to help you redeem your rewards if you missed the period to claim your coupon or if you forgot to claim it from your mailbox and your reward expired.

Why do I receive an error when I try to claim my Coupon?

Please make sure you are entering the coupon code correctly, and you have entered the correct account and server information.

It is also possible that your coupon code has already expired, or that the coupon code you are using is not available in your selected server.

Please keep in mind that if you have already redeemed a coupon with that account, you will not be able to redeem it again and you will receive an error if you try. In this case, please make sure to check your in-game mailbox.

Please note that Customer Support will not be able to assist you with claiming your coupon codes if you accidentally enter incorrect information or if your code has expired. 

Can I get a coupon, please?

Coupons are generally issued in connection with events or promotions, and we do not manually provide coupons upon request.

Usually, any new coupons are shared by our Official Guardian Tales Twitter account, so make sure you follow us there to stay up to date with all that's happening. Once in a while, we share coupons on the Guardian Tales Official Discord, and only there, so that's also a good place to check out.
